Like syd15 said around this time last year, I too have a very complex relationship with the show so these fics are largely AU or set early on and/or zero in on character interaction so tightly there isn’t much else to see.

I'm starting out with the first show that I ever taped off television in my youth. I even wrote up little blurbs to remind me what episodes were on which tape (they were reruns airing in entirely random order but I loved the show and persisted despite this). I shipped Lee and Amanda long before I (or probably anyone else) ever heard of shipping.
